Congress of Communities (CoC) has been a long time partner with 482Forward. The mission of 482Forward is “We are creating a Detroit where every student graduates ready to become a fully engaged participant in the world, equipped with the character and the capacity to negotiate her environment and change it for the better.” CoC works with them toward that mission through several of our leadership development programs including the TANN Action Team, and our Latinx Youth Council. Additionally, CoC has supported 482Forward advocacy initiatives. Recently CoC staff, youth, and program participants collected hundreds of signatures for the Invest in MiKids ballot Initiative which you can learn more about here investinmikids.org
