Amigo’s Childcare

Amigos Child Care is a program of Congress of Communities and provides a safe, culturally rooted space where children learn and grow through Spanish language immersion. The program serves youth ages 0–12 in Southwest Detroit through after-school programming during the school year and full-day enrichment in the summer. Youth participate in:

Spanish language immersion Literacy
STEM activities
Arts and cultural programming
Physical wellness
Social-emotional learning

Amigos supports working families by offering an accessible, structured environment where children are safe, engaged, and continuing to learn outside of school hours
