Door Knocking for Census and Covid Vaccine

In 2020 CoC supported efforts to get people to fill out the 2020 Census. CoC contractors, and staff knocked on 40,000 doors, did several outreach tables, shared information digitally and generally encouraged our residents to fill out their census so that Detroit could have a correct count of people. From 2021-2022 CoC supported efforts in the city of Detroit for wide adoption of the Covid19 vaccinations. CoC was hired to knock on doors in Detroit’s district 6. Over time CoC knocked on doors over 100,000 times to share information with local residents about their Covid19 vaccine options.
